We are entering another season of the year! Personally, I, together with our Pastors, will be putting all our energies to disciple our potential leaders, train them for the great commission! To save people is one thing and to disciple them until Christ is formed in them is another thing! We can be overwhelmed by the number of souls coming, but what’s more exciting is when they are being raised as leaders! Leadership is INVESTMENT.
Our school will be commencing on June 25, 2011. Two months of training under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He will be the School Director and Professor empowering disciples for the work of the ministry. What's more exciting is that all our students will not just enter a classroom, their minds will be challenged, their faith will be stretched, their bodies will be pushed to action as they witness how powerful scriptures are partnered by the mighty move of the Holy Ghost.
SOL will be an experience they will never forget provided that they are willing and hungry. Yes, it is a basic requirement to attain the spirit of aggressiveness; they fight to grow and are willing to pay the price of maturity! Practical examples are, let’s say, they are never absent every week or they do self studying, with this, surely they will reap a great destiny!
Look at Jesus, in his early age, he was not found in streets playing. In fact in one scenario of His life, His parents were anxiously looking for Him, and when they couldn't find Him after three days, they were amazed to see him in church studying with LEADERS! In Luke 2:46 "After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions". Three action words of leaders in the making: They SIT, they LISTEN and and they ASK questions.
When Jesus was asked what was He doing inside the temple, let me paraphrase what He boldly answered, "I am being prepared to handle God's business in the future!" And what was the result of His aggressiveness? "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor of God and men" Luke 2:52. If Jesus, our Lord, loved training, what do you think is expected of us? You need to be trained!
It is God's will for you to be influential, powerful and contagious! You are about to put to work! A great destiny is ahead of you! The Lord is looking for skillful workers that will gather, preserve and disciple the harvest. Invest in training and not only that, I say, study and meditate the Bible day and night, be spirit-led people committed to prayer and fasting, have generous hands and cheerful heart to give, open your eyes wide open for the vision of the multitudes! Time will be too short for your training but you will be used in ways you've never imagined!
